During the shoot, the Rock injured his elbow on June 14. His elbow became swollen and left a purple bruise. But the bodybuilding enthusiast has no intention of backing down.

Recently, The Smashing Machine actor posted a short video on his Instagram account doing one of his favorite exercises. Despite his injury, the WWE wrestler didn’t skip his strict workout regime. Along with the workout clip, the Rock shared his latest update on his elbow injury. Let’s take a look.

Despite being injured, the WWE wrestler used heavy dumbbells

In the video, the WWE star wrestler did dumbbell rows on an incline bench. The Rock faced the bench and sat on it, taking the correct form. Then he took the dumbbells, and despite being injured, the WWE star athlete used 70-pound dumbbells. He followed a unique approach to doing the sets.

The Rock did a two-second hold on the top while retracting the dumbbells in the right place. After the hold, he stretched his arms as much as possible to get a deep stretch in each rep. The actor captioned the post, “These are a b*****ch and kicks my a*s but super effective and one of my fav DB rowing exercises.

The WWE star athlete did each rep slowly and increased the time under tension. The form of the Rock was perfect, and it did quite a few reps easily. The actor also shared an update about his elbow and wrote, “elbow’s feelin’ better.” The athlete always aims to train harder, and one of his posts showcases him training hard during the night. The UFC champion is the Rock’s inspiration for his midnight workout

The WWE star is always ready to sacrifice his sleep and give his all for his movie roles. Earlier, he posted two images from his training and captioned the post, “Midnight training session.” However, the Rock didn’t display his exercises but dropped hints by showcasing his immense pump.

The WWE star wrote, “Pushed through, got it done, but had extra motivation.” The two-time UFC heavyweight champion Mark Kerr was the one who inspired the Rock to push beyond his limits and train at night. He showcased his gratitude to the UFC champion and wrote, “I’m super grateful for @markkerrtsm.

The WWE star athlete always aims to train like a beast and give it his all for his roles. Despite his injured elbow, the Rock didn’t skip his intense workout. He showcased his dedication and commitment to his upcoming role as the UFC Champion.
