Chris Bumstead and his fiancée, Courtney King, recently shared a heartfelt update about their newborn daughter, Bradley Shay Bumstead. Amidst the joy of welcoming their first child, the couple revealed that the little girl had undergone minor surgery.

King shared the latest update about their daughter’s health journey in an emotional Instagram story post. Holding Bradley close to her chest in the photo, she revealed that on Thursday, 2nd May, “my sweet baby had a lip & tongue tie procedure done.” King expressed the anguish of seeing her baby in pain, describing it as “the WORST pain.”

“She’s been having a difficult time getting a deep latch for breastfeeding,” King explained the reason behind the surgery. However, she reassured their followers that the procedure was crucial not only for breastfeeding but also for the baby’s long-term health. Bradley was doing much better despite the initial discomfort, and the family enjoyed precious cuddle time together, stated the mother.

Earlier, Courtney King had shared her experience of enduring 18 hours of labor with Chris Bumstead by her side. After a challenging journey, their daughter, Bradley Shay Bumstead, arrived on April 22nd, filling them with immense joy and pride. King felt incredibly accomplished and proud, expressing gratitude for the love and support from well-wishers. She also thanked her birth team for their support, saying it made a huge difference.

Bumstead praised his fiancee’s strength throughout the process, emphasizing that true strength shines brightest in challenging moments. Addressing his daughter, Bradley Shay, Bumstead expressed his hope that she would inherit her mother’s resilience.

He also penned an emotional message for his daughter, “While I would love to shelter you from any and all pain, I will instead lovingly encourage you to take on the scary aspects of life with your head held high.” As Chris Bumstead and Courtney King continue on their parenthood journey they seem eager to cherish each moment with their daughter, Bradley.
