Preview-

Boston Cletics vs Brooklyn Nets would have been a much anticipated game for the prospect of Kyrie Irving returning to face his former club, but Wednesday will not the day for it.

Nets, after a rather disappointing start to the season, have improved their record to 9-8 with a four game winning streak, and sit seventh in the Eastern Conference.

The Nets’ record, rather surprisingly, has had a significant improvement since losing Irving to injury. Nets had lost three on the trot before Irving’s injury and have been 4-1 since then.

It has been something similar for the Celtics, who after losing Irving in the pre-season, is sitting near the top of the Eastern Conference with a record of 12-4 so far. Celtics have replaced Irving with Kemba Walker at Point guard, who has survived an injury scare and is reported to be fit for the game against Brooklyn.

For the Cletics, Jayson Tatum has put up some good performances and looks like a great potential star for the future. He has been averaging 20.5 points per game, and might play a crucial role in the game against Wednesday. In their previous game against Sacrament Kings, Boston managed to just sneak past their opponents on a day when they were without Walker.
