The AEW promotion is in its nascent stages when compared to the illustrious big-name WWE. However, the promotion is going all out to recruit big names as well as get icons to make part-time appearances. Now they have struck gold and will have boxing royalty in Mike Tyson present at their second annual Double or Nothing PPV.

Mike Tyson will appear at AEW Double or Nothing

The former two-time boxing world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson will appear on the May 23rd PPV. As per a Tweet by the wrestling promotion ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson will present the TNT Championship to the winner of the finals between Cody and Lance Archer (with Jake Roberts)

‘Iron’ is no stranger to pro wrestling. He has a WWE Hall of Fame Ring as part of the celebrity wing. He has appeared at Wrestlemania 14 as the enforcer for the Shawn Michaels vs Stone Cold main event and knocked out ‘The Heartbreak Kid’ after the match.

Later he appeared as a guest host and reunited with DX. On the night, he knocked out Chris Jericho to close an episode of Monday Night Raw. It was a play on his unofficial status as a member of DX in the late 90s.

Safe to say ‘Y2J’ will not have forgotten this and we could see a skit between ‘Iron’ and ‘Le Champion.’ Jericho is at the event as part of the Stadium Stampede match between the Inner Circle and the Elite.

However, this is just wishful thinking. This is because AEW confirmed ‘Iron’ only for the main event. One competitor and AEW stakeholder Cody tweeted his excitement at being part of the tournament and having the honor to finish it.
