The WBC Heavy title holder missed out on the red carpet outing to receive this award as he tested positive for Covid-19. Many have also accused Hamilton of not paying enough taxes even when he earns millions. Lewis Hamilton, who has dismissed all such claims in the past, addressed the misconceptions in 2014 in an interview.

The F1 star highlighted that he pays “a lot” in taxes in his home country. He added that he also has to contribute to other countries that he works and earns out of.
