Apart from being a boxer himself, Jake Paul is the CEO of ‘Most Valuable Promotions.’ The boxing promotion was founded in the year 2021 alongside his manager, Nakisa Bidarian. He has signed many great fighters such as Amanda Serrano. Moreover, the young promotion company has hosted and organized a few landmark boxing cards in recent times. Safe to say, ‘The Problem Child,’ is a fairly good boxing promoter in his own right.

However, in a recent turn of events, Paul appears to have promised to host a fight between the golf legend Brooks Koepka and another person he had a beef with. So without further ado, let’s take a look what who Koepka wants to fight and what the 24-year-old’s proposal is.

Koepka is a highly regarded golf player. In 2018, he became the world’s number-one golf player after winning the CJ Cup. Needless to say, he is one of the best golf players out there. However, he does not wish to confine himself to golf. In an episode of Paul’s podcast, ‘B/S with Jake Paul,’ the younger Paul brother asked Koepka if he would be interested in making his boxing debut. In response, he vehemently asserted he would want it only to face his old rival, Bryson Dechambeau.

If you follow golf, you would know about the feud between Koepka and Dechambeau. Since 2019, both athletes have been taking shots at each other verbally. With time, the hostility has escalated and at one point, both of them even made certain personal remarks.

Although it appeared that their beef was quashed, Koepka still has a vehement desire to dish it out in the ring with him. During the podcast, Paul asked him, “Who’s like one of the guys like you sort of have beef with?” To which he responded, stating, “I had the big thing with Bryson.”

Paul wanted to know if he would want to fight him in a ring. So he followed up with another question and asked, “Would you fight him? In a boxing match?” While responding in the affirmative again, Keopka was curious to know if the young CEO would want to be a part of their potential fight in the capacity of a promoter. Keopka asked, “Yea, you going to promote it?” to which Paul replied, “I’ll put a million-dollar purse up for it.”

After that, Paul, Koepka, and the co-host both proceeded to make fun of Dechambeau’s last name and Koepka vowed to put him in “shambles” when they fight. Will this bout take place? Only time will tell. However, in the time and age of celebrity boxing, this match-up may not be too farfetched.
But we are curious to know, what you make of Keopka’s call out. Share with us your thoughts and opinions with us in the comments below.
