Former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson has had a very close relationship with his children. The champ recently revealed that his son was inspired by Tiger Woods to take up golf.

Tyson was hosting his ‘Hotboxin with Mike Tyson‘ podcast. And hip-hop artist Jayceon Terrell Taylor AKA The Game was the guest for the episode. The duo was engaged in a passionate conversation about their children. As such, the Game mentioned how he has three kids, with the older one in the university and his younger daughter, who has secured major modeling contracts with brands like Nike.

Talking about his children finishing college. Tyson said, “My kids all graduated, most of them. Four of them graduated from college, NYU, American, Drexler, Georgetown. And, in my three young ones, I have one in USC, he’s 19. “

In addition, he also spoke about his younger son, who was passionate about golf. Tyson said, “I have a son, that’s just, he plays. What the hell, I don’t know why he likes golf. I don’t know why he likes golf.”

In fact, Tyson even mentioned that Tiger Woods inspired his son to take up the sport. He said, “He saw a picture of Tiger Woods walking to a hole. And, the people walking behind, he said wow. That’s cool. All the people following you like that. And that’s why you got things. He wants to play golf.”

However, Tyson revealed that he used to hate the sport of golf until he tried it himself.

Mike Tyson’s daughter meets Serena Williams

Mike Tyson’s daughter, Milan Tyson, is a tennis prodigy. Moreover, she mentioned she wishes to be a tennis player in the future.

Tyson and his daughter were in attendance at the 2016 BNP Paribas Open. She even got to meet the tennis legend, Serena Williams. Talking about her experience meeting Williams, she mentioned she was not given any advice by the legend.

Additionally, Milan Tyson also mentioned that she would become a tennis player and win the 2030 BNP Paribas Open.

Mike Tyson did not have a prominent father figure while growing up. But Tyson made sure that he was involved in the lives of his children. Moreover, ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ has shown his softer side as a loving father multiple times.

However, Tyson mentioned a rather intriguing rule that his kids’ friends have to follow in their household. He mentioned they were not allowed to watch his matches when they visit.

Tyson stated that the reason for the rule was that he might have cursed at people during the match.
