Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather has been one of the most successful athletes both in and out of the ring. ‘Money’, along with being the richest boxer in the world, is also known to be one of the best in-ring technicians in the history of the sport. Mayweather’s wealth has been unmatched by any of his peers due to the smart investments he made during and after his career.

In an interview back in 2020, Mayweather revealed that he owned buildings worth over a billion dollars. He claimed that he was very well off financially and made some investments worth billions of dollars. “I’m well off every property that I have is paid for. My jet is paid for, all my cars are paid for, and I own billion dollars, billion-dollar buildings. I own so much property and I’m steady investing in different things. I’m invested in the tech world, I made a lot of smart investments,” Mayweather said.
Golf legend Tiger Woods has also been mimicking the former 5-division champ as he too has made some real estate investments. It was reported that Woods constructed a huge mansion in Jupiter, Florida. The home is reported to be spread over 12 acres and estimated to be worth $60 million during the time it was purchased. Today the property is estimated to be worth $75 to $100 million. Moreover, the mansion features a practice golf course, an oxygen-therapy room, and at least four swimming pools.
This was certainly a great investment for the 11-time PGA Player of the year. However, it pales in comparison to Mayweather’s billion-dollar property investment.
Floyd Mayweather calls out Jake Paul
Since retiring from professional boxing in 2017, Mayweather has only competed in exhibition bouts. He recently defeated Mikuru Asakura in his 2 outings to Japan and has also competed in an exhibition against Logan Paul. Money has now set his sights on his brother Jake Paul as he called out the YouTuber turned boxer following his victory over Asakura.
In an interview with TMZ, Mayweather addressed Paul’s challenge and stated that he is ready to face him at any weight.”He [Paul] said, “I’m only doing real fights.” And of course, I can’t get high up in weight, but I’ll fight him in a real fight at the weight that I’m at,’ said Mayweather.

It looks like even at the age of 45 the boxing legend still has some left fight left in him. Moreover, this seems like a good matchup for Paul as well, who could test his skills against one of the best boxers ever.
