Dillon Danis is back on the X bandwagon. Not that he ever left, but after his disgraceful performance against Logan Paul last year, he lost all relevance in the combat world. However, as he makes a comeback, he is targeting the younger Paul brother. In a recent pinch, ‘El Jefe’ took shots at Jake Paul by mocking his upcoming opponent to be an ‘Uber Driver.’

On March 2, ‘The Problem Chil’ will go toe-to-toe with Ryan Bourland in his first fight of 2024. The bout will headline as the co-main event alongside Amanda Serrano at Coliseo Jose Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico. However, as the fight is right around the corner, Dillion Danis is trying to use Jake to hold on to the minuscule relevance he is left with on social media.

Earlier today, the pro mixed martial artist turned to X, sharing a screen grab of Ryan Boutland’s Uber profile. Who would have seen that coming – Dillon Danis sharing images on X to pick on people? Nevertheless, alongside the image, he wrote, “Jake Paul’s opponent is an active registered Uber driver with a 4.9 rating.”

Since his loss to Logan Paul, ‘El Jefe’ hasn’t fought anyone, and neither does he seem interested in getting in the octagon or the ring. Seemingly, he is happy with the payday from the Logan fight. In a similar incident, the mixed martial artist reacted to Ilia Topuria’s Conor McGregor-ish actions.

Jake Paul is not the only recipient of Danis’ tweets

On Thursday, Ilia Topuria pulled a move many are well aware of. Right from Conor McGregor’s playbook, Topuria snatched Alexander Volkanovski’s UFC belt during the UFC 298 press conference. And when Dillion Danis saw his friend’s move copied by Topuria, he could not help but tweet about it.

Hopping on the social media platform, Danis wrote, “I’m having déjà vu.” Moreover, there’s no doubt that it was a disrespectful move from Topuria. But the undefeated mixed martial artist proved that he deserved the belt more than Volkanovski. During their fight on 17 February, ‘El Matador’ defeated Volkanovski via second-round knockout and took his belt for good!

One take at a time

The first time boxing captured my attention, it was because of a line I heard in the film 'Rocky Balboa', a film surrounding boxing. The line went like this, "But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.
