Former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson recently expressed his displeasure at the streaming platform, Hulu, for making a movie about his life. Moreover, he also accused the platform of ‘stealing’ his life story. MMA analyst and promoter Chael Sonnen recently shared his thoughts on the series.

Hulu announced that they would be streaming an 8-episode series, titled ‘Mike’, based on Tyson’s life. Talking about the series, they mentioned that it will explore ‘the wild, tragic and controversial life and career’ of the heavyweight legend.

The series created by Steven Rogers saw Trevante Rhodes essaying the role of Tyson. Meanwhile, Russell Hornsby and Harvey Keitel essayed the roles of Don King and Cus D’Amato respectively.

Tyson, on the other hand, was quick to slam the series. He even mentioned that they had not paid him to feature his life story.

However, Sonnen came in support of the series. Additionally, he mentioned that the series about the former champ’s life was well made and that he recommends it.

In fact, Sonnen even mentioned that Tyson was paid for the series. And that fake news about the same was being propagated.

Mike Tyson slams Hulu

Mike Tyson was quick to raise his voice in vexation. In fact, the former champ even took to social media to express his thoughts about the same.

In a series of strongly worded tweets, Tyson called out the platform for the series. And he even went on to compare himself and Hulu to the biblical characters of Davis and Goliath.

Moreover, he called Hulu greedy while also accusing them of stealing his life’s rights. In the same vein, he even warned the platform while referencing life in the pre-Civil War era. Notably, he mentioned that he was not a person who could be sold on an auction block.
