YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul has become a household name in boxing. The 26-year-old has made a name for himself in the sport. Despite his last loss to Tommy Fury, Paul is ready to make a comeback in August against former UFC star Nate Diaz. The two are scheduled to fight on the 5th of August. It is safe to say that this news is not something the fans were expecting after the Tommy Fury fight. However, the two are ready to fight, and they recently met in a face-off ahead of their bout.

Both the fighters were present for a press conference for their match. And it seems like the things between the two got a little intense. Or at least, the 26-year-old tried his best to do so. Fans can’t control their reactions after watching these two meet in their face-off.

In a video posted on Instagram by ‘Dazn’, the two can be seen coming face to face after the press conference. Things between the two started off on a rather odd note as Diaz got into his fighting stance with his hands up to his head to which Paul responded with the same.

But the Ohio-raised internet sensation took things a little too seriously as he tried stepping back and maintaining a distance from the former UFC star. To add to the excitement for the fans, Paul even began faking jabs at the fighter. Diaz responded by simply putting his hands down.

Once things were calm between the two, they faced the crowd. Paul had a smirk on his face as he posed for the cameras. It is safe to say that the face-off between the two was “intense” in an odd sense and the fans had a field day with this face-off.

Fans React to the ‘intense’ face-off

One fan summarized the entire face with a one-liner. He wrote, “This is actual comedy .”

Another fan believes that Diaz was just happy to be present there and had nothing else to think about. He wrote, “Nate just happy to be there.”

A fan noted that Jake Paul couldn’t, despite his efforts, make the face-off intense. They wrote, “Wasn’t intense. Jake was trying to make it intense but couldn’t.”

A fan thinks that Paul was trying to take this seriously, but Diaz doesn’t care about it. Thus, they wrote, “Jake Paul is trying to take this so serious but Nate’s like this is a joke just give me my money.”
