Ellerbe is quite active on his X account and does not restrict himself to talking about boxing but also various other sports. In a recent turn of events, he appears to have weighed in on Cuban selling his majority stake in the NBA team, Dallas Mavericks.

Amongst other things, Cuban is an American businessman and a television personality. He made headlines in the sports world after he sold his majority share in the NBA team Dallas Mavericks to the Adelson and Dumont families, who run Las Vegas Sands Corp. Not only that, he decided to give bonuses worth millions of dollars to the team’s employees. Witnessing this, Ellerbe revealed his thoughts on the grand gesture.

Ellerbe is all praise for the Cuban

TMZ reported that the American business tycoon has decided to generously give a staggering $35 million as a bonus to the employees of the Maverick team. This isn’t your typical bonus; it’s a testament to Cuban’s unique and exceptional generosity. In a letter, he extended his gratitude and felt the need to remunerate for their services. “A framework that took into consideration how long you have worked for the Mavs,” said Cuban.

Meanwhile, Ellerbe, who himself is a sports tycoon in his own right was startled to witness it. In a tweet on X to his 80,000 followers, the promoter expressed his admiration for Cuban, referring to him as the best owner in sports and sharing nothing but kind words. Reflecting on this sentiment, he succinctly stated, “Best owner in sports.”
