

The hip-hop world woke up to the tragic news of the death of yet another young talent. Rapper ‘Takeoff’ who was one-third of the rap group Migos, lost his life in a fatal shooting incident. Meanwhile, multiple world title holder Shakur Stevenson recently joined the boxing world and other celebrities in offering condolences for his untimely demise.

Takeoff was with his uncle and Migos group member, Quavo, when the fatal incident took place. It was reported that the duo was playing dice at the 810 Billiards & Bowling in Houston during the early hours of November 1, 2022. This was when an altercation broke out and someone opened fire. And, Takeoff, who was fatally hit, was pronounced dead on the scene.
It is worth noting that Takeoff had posted a picture in front of the site barely hours before the incident. Conversely, Quavo escaped unhurt after the incident.

Meanwhile, Stevenson took to social media to offer condolences for Takeoff’s demise.
Another notable fact is that Stevenson was also present at the scene when the tragic incident took place.
Shakur Stevenson was not the only boxer who offered condolences
It can be said that Shakur Stevenson was not the only member of the boxing world who spoke up about Takeoff’s death. In fact, many notable names from the world of boxing took to social media to talk about the same.

Former world heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson, mentioned that he was devastated to hear about Takeoff’s death. Moreover, he also stated that he had met the young rapper a few times.

Similarly, British boxing champion Chris Eubank Jr. also mentioned that Takeoff was a grounded and down-to-earth individual. And also added that drastic measures have to be taken to prevent the untimely deaths of young artists.
