Despite many being doubtful about how well the product would do in the absence of Sylvester Stallone, the movie has done quite well at the box office. Moreover, it has racked in over $100 million from its worldwide box office sales in its opening week.

Jordan has been around in Hollywood for some time but found his breakthrough in 2013 after the success of Ryan Coogler’s Fruitvale Station. Although Jordan might be extremely talented, he is still a bit behind as compared to other greats like Leonardo Di Caprio or Denzel Washington. However, he is a very hard worker who would do anything to get better at his craft. Therefore, it was not surprising when he reacted to NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo’s startling admission.

Michael B. Jordan reacts to Giannis Antetokounmpo, comparing himself to Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry

In a recent interview with The Athletic, ‘The Greek Freak’ compared himself to Steph Curry and Kevin Durant. According to him, they were far more talented than he was. However, he was ‘desperate’ and worked hard to get where he is and does not want to lose out to his contemporaries in any manner.

“I’m not as talented as Steph. I’m not as talented as KD, I’m f****g desperate, I’m obsessed. So I f****g work as hard as I can, because I don’t want to lose this s—“, he said.

Jordan also posted this on his Instagram story showing his support for the 2-time MVP. Both Jordan and Antetokounmpo have a lot of similarities when it comes to their rise in their respective fields. Thus, it is only natural for the Creed III star to relate to ‘The Greek Freak’.

Giannis Antetokounmpo takes shots at the MVP scoring criteria

In the interview, The 2-time MVP question the methods used to judge how valuable the player is. According to him, the best player is not always the most valuable for a team and the scoring criteria change each year.

“Sometimes, the best player isn’t the most valuable player on the team. Like, I feel like Brook [Lopez] is such a valuable player for our team. Like [the MVP criteria] just f***d up. Sorry for my language. It just changes.” he said.

The Bucks star isn’t a fan of the MVP-scoring criteria which has received its fair share of criticism. However, Antetokounmpo is also currently in the MVP race and might be looking to add another trophy to his already-stacked silverware collection.
