Floyd Mayweather Knocks LeBron James’ Investment in $4.45 Billion Worth Empire Out of the Ball Park With His ‘Billion Dollar’ Possessions

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather has amassed a fortune in his career that could only be matched by a select few. He was the face of boxing for a better part of a decade and one of its most financially successful stars. However, Mayweather’s wealth cannot only be attributed to his career earnings, but rather the smart investments he made.
Back in 2020, Money revealed that he owned a bunch of buildings that were worth over a billion dollars. He stated that he was very well off financially and owned properties that will pay dividends for the foreseeable future. ” I’m well off every property that I have is paid for
. My jet is paid for, all my cars are paid for, I own billion dollars billion-dollar buildings. I own so much property and I’m steady investing in different things. I’m invested in the tech world. I made a lot of smart investments.” he said.

Moreover, this investment looked way more sizable than some of the other investments he has made over the years. Athletes are no strangers to making investments off the field to maximize their wealth and one of the most recent examples of this would be NBA superstar LeBron James’ investment in EPL team Liverpool.
6) FSG raised $750 million last year by selling ~10% of the business to RedBird Capital.
When that deal was finalized, LeBron was named a partner at FSG (along with Maverick Carter).

James reportedly had a two percent stake in the team, which he turned into a one percent stake in the company. The EPL team is reported to be worth $4.45 billion while the 4-time NBA champion’s stake amounts to around $100 million. However, this certainly pales in comparison to the multi-billion dollar properties owned by Mayweather. ‘Money’ has always been ahead of his contemporaries when it comes to financial management. This has led him to become the richest boxer in the world despite retiring from the sport back in 2017.
Jake Paul accuses Floyd Mayweather of being bankrupt
YouTube sensation Jake Paul has claimed that Mayweather is actually broke. Money has been in an ongoing battle with Jake’s brother Logan Paul, who accused him of not paying him his full share for their exhibition bout.

Moreover, The Problem Child has now entered the conversation as he stated that Mayweather had spent all of his money in an interview with Rob Moore. “Floyd is broke, man. I’ve been saying it the whole time. I think he probably spent it [all of his money] on the girls he pays to be around him,” he said.

However, Jake does not have any substantiated evidence to back these claims and might just be shooting in the dark trying to get a reaction out of the former champ.
