There aren’t many men alive who could stand toe to toe with former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder. The former Olympian has 43 wins in his 44 fights with his only losses and a draw coming at the hands of current WBC champion Tyson Fury. However, despite his immaculate record, it seems that Wilder might be a little too humble in his skills as he gave an unexpected opponent a chance against him in a boxing match. Moreover, this man was none other than 4-time NBA champion LeBron James.

James is one of the greatest athletes ever seen in the history of sports. Many also claim that he could have been a top-level athlete in any sport he would have chosen to compete in. This might be the reason Wilder feels that ‘King James’ would have a chance against him. However, James was also part of another debate where he was pitted against boxing legend Mike Tyson.

Boxing is a sport where height does come into factor along with other athletic abilities which would give James an advantage. However, it is not everything in boxing as skill plays a far greater role. This was the reason why Tyson was so successful in beating opponents far taller than him. Moreover, Iron Mike was able to best utilize the skill sets given to him, which is why he became a champion in a division full of giants.
