Jake Paul, who recently signed with the PFL, of late, expressed discontent with the virtual announcements and in-game communication of the NBA. Paul, who is expected to make his return to boxing in February, took to Twitter and addressed his vexation with this mode of NBA announcements. However, it is not the first time that ‘The Problem Child’ has called out the NBA. In the recent past, Paul called out the NBA for recruiting Matt Ryan, a former DoorDash driver, and now he seems to be not happy with virtual announcements.

Taking to Twitter, ‘The Problem Child’ enquired, “Why they got these NBA refs making announcements through the tv off a Skype cam?” Paul, who once knocked out a former NBA athlete Nate Robinson inside the boxing ring, has repeatedly criticized the NBA for the way the organization has operated. Paul, who had offered Draymond Green $10M to join his Most Valuable Promotion for boxing, does not admire the present review system.

Jake Paul had also recently stirred the internet by challenging LeBron James to a contest in boxing. While the internet criticized ‘The Problem Child’ for his comments, Paul criticized virtual announcements.

In October 2022, Jake Paul, speaking with Mike Bohn, displayed MMA moves and hinted at his preparation for something big. He had said that he was working with a “whole MMA thing“. “We’re going to have an announcement soon,” Paul had added by saying. True to his words, Paul has joined the PFL. Reportedly, in February 2023, Paul would make his return to combat sports.

After defeating Anderson Silva, there is a high chance that Paul would face KSI or his old rival Tommy Fury in the ring. Since Paul has now made a transition to MMA, he just might fight Nate Diaz or even accept the challenge of Antony Pettis. What do you make of Paul’s recent comments regarding the NBA virtual announcements? Let us know in the comments below.
