Boxing is a high-risk sport that can put a person’s life in danger. Violent blows have caused fighters to sustain severe brain damage. However, a resurfaced boxing fight video that shows a boxer purposefully taking hard blows has been making waves online. Boxing fans and NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal have been gushing about it as it recently appeared online.

Shaquille O’Neal, an NBA legend and successful businessman, enjoys the sport of boxing. He has even squared off inside the ring previously. Shaq most recently shared a video of Chinese martial artist Yi Long boxing Brad Riddell on Instagram. See how the audience responded.

A boxing enthusiast related it to the famous anime Dragon Ball Z and wrote, “Dude fighting real life Krillin” 

One fan wrote, “One punch man” 

Another fan wrote, “Only thing left is to swallow a sword.”

“Protected his chin before each strike” 

A fan said, “cte can go crazy in a few years” 

Someone asked, “How you going to fight a monk?!!”

Brad Riddell, a UFC fighter, threw a barrage of blows at Long. But Long, who is skilled in kung fu, is undoubtedly a formidable fighter. He bravely took the strikes and immediately came back with powerful fists. Even though the footage is old, people still talk about the three-round fight.

When Shaquille O’Neal went up against a former boxing champion 

Shaq is recognized as one of the finest basketball players in the history of the NBA. To add to the difficulty of his existence, the man nevertheless continues to seek fresh muses. Shaq hosted a show titled ‘Shaq Vs.’ after he took retirement from NBA.

O’Neal was portrayed on the show competing in different sports with elite sportsmen from the respective games. Oscar De La Hoya, a former boxing champion, appeared in one of the episodes of the program. The video shows ‘The Golden Boy of Boxing’ outclassing the giant basketball player inside the ring.

Despite having a significant height and weight advantage, Shaq was unable to hold his own against a skilled boxer like De La Hoya. In the five-round exhibition fight, the latter connected with more blows than Shaq.
