NBA legends Shaquille O’Neal and Lebron James have their rightful place in the NBA’s own posse of immortals. Their iconic performances have only further elevated them to superstardom. The duo has also shared a great camaraderie both inside and outside the court. However, Shaw recently told Logan Paul that he is jealous of James. And it seems like one of James’ latest achievements has played a major role in building this jealousy.

Shaq was a guest at the ‘Impaulsive‘ podcast hosted by Paul. Moreover, Paul’s friends George Janko and Mike Majlak were present as guests for the episode.

In conversation, Majlak asked Shaq to name his picks for the top three NBA players of all time. But Shaq reiterated by asking, “I have a question for you and the panel. When Lebron passes up Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in points. And he will this year. Will that make him the greatest player ever?

Notably, James currently sits at 37,062 career points which is just 1,325 points behind Abdul-Jabbar’s record of 38,387.

Shaq further answered the previous question, saying, “I think the greatest player is Michael Jordan. Lebron’s about to do something that hasn’t been done in a long time. And I think he will move his name up there.”

But he mentioned that he would always choose Dr. J(Julius Irving) and Michael Jordan as his top picks.

Was Shaquille O’Neal jealous of Lebron James?

Shaq’s statement left Mike Majlak confused. He asked Shaq if people think that he does not respect the new-school basketball players. In response, Shaq mentioned that he respects James’ achievements and contributions to the sport. But also stated that he also took people’s perspectives into consideration.
