In a bizarre incident, Mayweather had once allegedly refused to click a selfie with a teen fan for a strange reason.

Why did Floyd Mayweather refuse to click a selfie with a young fan?

Soon after Floyd Mayweather’s exhibition fight that broke the internet against the YouTube sensation, Logan Paul, the former world champion, attended an NBA game between Ja Morant?s Grizzlies vs Kawhi Leonard?s Clippers on October 24, 2021.

A teenage fan approached the American boxer courtside at the Staples Center to click a selfie with him. However, things didn’t go as the fan would have hoped for, as Mayweather refused to click a selfie because the young boy had painted nails.

In the video, Mayweather said that he doesn’t take pictures with people who have nail paints on. He said, “You got painted nails, I don?t take pictures with guys with no painted nails.”

Floyd Mayweather’s life after retirement

The Logan Paul exhibition fight is one of the few fights Mayweather has been a part of after his retirement. His last official fight came against former UFC champion, Conor McGregor, where Mayweather extended his undefeated record to 50-0.

Since then the five-division champion has kept himself busy with a number of exhibition fights. So far Mayweather has faced three opponents after his retirement, the Japanese kickboxer, Tenshin Nasukawa, Logan Paul, and the most recent one against a former boxer and sparring partner, Don Moore.
