Why did Caleb Plant get emotional?

Though it is the couple’s first unborn child, Caleb Plant is going to become a father second time in his life. He had a daughter named Alia Plant in the initial days of his boxing career with her childhood love-interest Carman Jean Briscoe-Lee.

She was born on May 7, 2013. Unfortunately, Alia Plant suffered from an unknown medical condition and got pestered by seizures, which occurred hundreds of times a few days. Alia Plant even had respiratory problems coupled with her illness.

His daughter barely lived for 19 months with some serious illness throughout her lifespan. She spent most of her life in and out of the hospital.

On January 29, 2015, doctors gave a final ultimatum to ‘Sweethands’, saying she won’t survive more than a day. Plant then asked them to keep her on life support until his friends and family could bid adieu to their little princess. In her last minutes, Plant asked doctors to clean her up from all the tubes and wires attached, and by 10:55 am, they saw her breath for one last time.
