22-year-old Ryan Garcia is a center of attraction in the sport and tops the news headlines effortlessly. He recently won a spine-chilling contest against Luke Campbell via a KO. Post this win, his fans are already aligning him with his nemesis, Gervonta Davis.

The duo has targeted each other through their social media and had verbal spars. Recently, ‘King Ry’ responded to ‘Tank’s Instagram post in his own eccentric way.

Davis posted a picture on his Instagram, including a collage of him and Garcia. This image reached ‘King Ry’ who took a huge shot at the WBA champion. Garcia wrote ”2 Rounds.”

This was a fierce statement that staggered the combat sports fans. Both the fighters have expressed keen interest in fighting each other, and such social media taunts will only serve to enhance the backstory when the imminent bout comes to fruition.

Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis are the two biggest names from the younger generation of boxing. However, there’ll only be one among the two to walk down as a sure shot luminary of the sport in the next decade.

Can Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis clash in 2021?

Ryan Garcia bagged the WBC interim lightweight title with his win over Luke Campbell. This win directly puts him for a title shot against Devin Haney by mid-2021. A fight with ‘Tank’ might be just one stride away for ‘King Ry’.

If Garcia gets past ‘The Dream’ and captures the WBC lightweight belt, he will be in contention to take on the mighty challenge in the form of Gervonta Davis.

However, neither of their promotions have rolled out any sort of conversations relating to this clash after Garcia’s WBC title shot challenge. ‘King Ry’s fans will look forward to his fight, first against Haney and then against ‘Tank’ by late 2021.
