Anthony Joshua has assured fans he’ll be fit for his fight against Kubrat Pulev, despite his knee injury. Joshua was pictured at a Black Life Matters protest sporting a knee brace and was seen limping around. Many feared Joshua suffered a knee ligament injury. However, Joshua revealed ita was a minor training injury.

There were rumors of Joshua and Tyson Fury squaring off for the unification but.However.both fighters have mandatory challengers next. Fury is set to face Deontay Wilder for the trilogy bout. Kubrat Pulev is Joshua’s mandatory challenger, with a fight touted for later this year. However, the pandemic has caused a major roadblock for both fights. With fans not being to attend the fights, promoters can suffer losses in the millions.

Anthony Joshua was seen protesting at the Black Life Matters protest. Police brutality against the African-American community has caused plenty of peaceful protests across multiple countries.There have been reports about vandalism and looting, however, it seems to be a minority committing this.

“I understand the concerns in regard to social distancing. However, I hope those who are complaining about social distancing have the same energy about those gathering for a day at the beach and those going to the park for a picnic.” Said Joshua as reported by Boxingscene.com

Despite the pandemic hundreds and thousands of protesters have come together. With Joshua set to return to training later this month, fans are expecting Joshua to seal the victory in the early rounds.
