47-Year-Old Anderson Silva Knocked Out Three Times While Sparring for Jake Paul

Jake Paul has been looking for potential opponents after his last fight got canceled. Finally, he is now set to up against UFC legend Anderson Silva next. During the press conference of the fight, Silva revealed some interesting facts about his sparring sessions that left the audience in giggles.
While talking in the press conference, Anderson Silva was quizzed about how he feels about going up against a younger opponent. He mentioned that age is just a number and said, “I continue training hard every day, you know. My last sparring is crazy. Alias knocked me out three times. And I say ‘bro I don’t go fight with you and I say I know, but I need to beat you. The coach says I need to beat you, I say ok, alright. And let’s go the next round and go kick you and put in the ground.”

Well, the UFC fighter seems confident about fighting the 25-year-old boxer. Although Jake Paul has an age advantage against the Brazilian, the latter’s experience could cause problems for the American.

‘The Problem Child’ was slated to square off against British boxer Tommy Fury on August 6th, at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. The latter, however, withdrew from the bout, and Hasim Rahman Jr. took his place. However, even that fight was called off. Now Paul is set to face Anderson Silva on October 29th, at the Gila River Arena in Phoenix.

During the press conference of the Paul vs. Silva bout, the former was asked if UFC star Nate Diaz is a potential opponent for him. Paul answered, “100 percent, I’ll slap the Stockton out of him.”

Apparently, Silva is by far the toughest opponent of Paul’s career. There are possibilities that Paul’s unbeatable 5-0 record could be broken this time. Furthermore, Nate Diaz has recently become a free agent and has hinted toward a boxing debut. But only time will reveal if fans get to see Diaz against Paul inside the boxing ring.
