

The sport of boxing has given birth to some of the world’s toughest athletes. Recently, on the Joe Rogan Experience, host Joe Rogan claimed that Floyd was the greatest defensive boxer of all time. However, he also mentioned that he found the Mayweather vs Conor McGregor fight weird.

Joe Rogan was hosting the podcast with Kevin Holland and Travis Lutter.
In conversation, Holland exclaimed, “Floyd’s undefeated too. But he’s not the greatest boxer of all time right.”

In response, Rogan mentioned, “It’s arguable he is.”‘
He further added, “He’s been hit hard maybe four times his whole f****** career. You stop and think about how many fights he’s fought against elite guys. Not just great defense. Like the best defense of all time.”

He also emphasizes on the fact that he finds Mayweather vs McGregor fight weird.

He says, “Yeah at the end of the day the f****** guy is 50 and 50 and well 49 and Conor McGregor. That’s what he is, that’s what I say. Yeah because it’s kinda weird, it’s kinda weird.”
Joe Rogan’s two cents on Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather
This was not the first time that Joe Rogan spoke about McGregor facing Mayweather.

On episode 985 of the Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan was talking to Lebanese-Canadian YouTuber Gad Saad.
In conversation, Saad asked him about the then upcoming bout between McGregor and Mayweather. Saad also told Rogan that he believed that McGregor would get trashed.

In response, Rogan gave emphasis to Mayweather’s skill saying, “I would imagine that most likely he is going to lose a boxing match to the best boxer that has ever lived, arguably.”

But there were also instances where Joe Rogan showed his support to McGregor. Mayweather announced that he was applying for an MMA license.

In response, Rogan in his podcast spoke about how McGregor was far more superior when it comes to MMA. He also mentios that Mayweather would lose horribly if he faces McGregor.
