Billy Joe Saunders and Chris Eubank Jr met in the ring for the first time in 2014. Saunders won the match via split decision and the pair have been going at each other ever since. Earlier this year, in May, Billy Joe Saunders lost his WBO belt to Canelo Alvarez.
Subsequently, Chris Eubank Jr. taunted Saunders with a tweet, telling Canelo that he would give him a real fight. Canelo, however, has bigger aspirations and will look to unify the super-middleweight titles by fighting IBF titleholder Caleb Plant.

In a recent interview, Chris Eubank Jr called out Billy Joe Saunders again, asking him to man up and fight him in the rematch. Billy Joe Saunders replied on his Instagram story, saying he would fight Eubank Jr for 5 million.
The rematch could be an interesting prospect for both fighters. While Eubank will look for revenge against Saunders, a win for Saunders will keep Eubank Jr quiet for good.

Their previous matchup was a close one, as Saunders won via split decision after the fight went the distance. Both the fighters started off the fight in a cagey fashion, as this was Eubank Jr’s first big fight, and Saunders was looking to defend his belt. Saunders showed his maturity and experience in the first few rounds, picking his punches and landing clean blows. Hence, he won the first few rounds.

In the middle rounds, the challenger started warming up and letting loose. His corner encouraged him to go for bigger blows and stun the champion. However, the tale of the entire fight was Eubank Jr, not doing enough to win rounds. Saunders just seemed to outclass Eubank Jr every round.
