Mike Tyson is one of the most revered boxers in the history of boxing. The knockout machine is regarded as one of the world’s best athletes and has a stellar professional record. Many boxers continue to challenge Tyson for fights even after his retirement. A former heavyweight recently challenged him and the new boxing mascot to a battle.

The heavyweight that we are talking about is Eric ‘Butterbean’ Esch. He has called out ‘Iron Mike’ and Jake Paul for a fight. While talking to ‘TheSun’, Esch said, “I’m not a typical boxer. I go out there to fight. I want to knock somebody out. Jake Paul or Mike Tyson. Jake Paul runs his mouth too much. He’s never fought nobody, I would love to fight him. But I think people would like to see me and Tyson go at it, which would be a hell of a draw. Me and Tyson are actually friends but I don’t mind fighting friends.”

‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ took retirement from boxing in 2005. Apparently, 15 years later, the champion returned to the ring for a bout with Roy Jones Jr. A big entity like Tyson returning to the sport was a big deal, and a lot of veteran boxers were considered for it. Even Butterbean’s name had come up, but it didn’t materialize. But Butterbean once stated that he could have defeated the pound-for-pound king.
