Floyd Mayweather is certainly one of the biggest draws in the sport of boxing. His impeccable defense and lightning speed out classed the best out of the best fighters of the modern era of boxing. His perfect 50-0 record and wins over world champions like Manny Pacquiao, Canelo Alvarez, and Oscar De La Hoya cemented his legacy that is impossible to match.

The flamboyant champion is so confident about his skills that he dubbed himself the greatest fighter of all time. He believes that he would defeat any fighter from any era. However, everyone did not agree with this. Some consider that Mayweather is a great fighter, but not so great that he would defeat any opponent from any part of history.

Roberto Duran, the Latin American hero who is considered one of the greatest fighters of all time, believes that if Mayweather would have fought him in his prime, then his perfect record would not have been perfect. To our knowledge, Duran was the most feared boxer of his time. His in-ring IQ was unmatchable.

He is sure that he would have attacked and knocked out Mayweather. Not only him, Sugar Ray Robinson, the American boxing legend, would also have defeated Mayweather.

Notably, Robinson is considered the greatest pound-for-pound boxer in the history of the sport. His reign was phenomenal. In the career span of over two decades, Robinson fixed a record of 173-19-6.

The upcoming exhibition of Floyd Mayweather

‘The Pretty Boy’ is all set to square off with the YouTube star Deji in a big-money exhibition. The showdown will take place this week on November 13, 2022 at the Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai.

This is going to be the third exhibition for Mayweather this year. Before this, he defeated Don Moore and Mikuru Asakura earlier this year.
