Despite a loss and a long lay-off, one cannot write off former WBC champion Deontay Wilder from the ongoing title picture. The Alabama native still holds a place in the top-slot and is eyeing an early return. However, we haven’t heard a lot from him in recent times.

Excluding a few interviews and social media posts, Deontay Wilder has remained silent for the longest of times. Meanwhile, it makes sense due to the controversial remarks he has made.

Having lost at the hands of Tyson Fury, Wilder blamed umpteen men as the heavyweight king seemed vexed. However, Deontay Wilder still considers him to be the king, and in a recent social media post, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ showcased his brashy side.

He posted a picture of himself relaxing with some liquor and his luxurious watch. Surprisingly, Wilder also had a gun on his table as he took the picture, sporting a wide smile.
