The Coronavirus epidemic is not showing any signs of slowing down. Thus Anthony Joshua fears he will have to take on Tyson Fury behind closed doors. The British rivals collectively hold all the four heavyweight world titles between them.
Fury and Joshua were on a collision course to face off against each other sometime in December. The fight was looking to take place in Saudi Arabia to determine who is the king of the heavyweight division.
However, that was before the Coronavirus pandemic gained momentum at such an alarming rate. Their bout is likely to be pushed up to February. But this is a problem for Joshua, for he feels Fury may hang up his gloves for good before their fight materializes.

I am looking at Tyson Fury like I am going to walk through him as well. I had my issue last year [losing to Andy Ruiz], I got through it and I want to correct it.”- Anthony Joshua tells DAZN

“If Eddie Hearn said he managed to secure the Tyson Fury fight, but it is behind closed doors. I would take it. If I don’t take it now then I don’t think Tyson Fury will be around by the time this all comes around again, when big hall shows are available. I have to take the opportunity while they’re there.”- Anthony Joshua
Both Joshua and Fury are looking to defend their titles ahead of their great British showdown. Joshua will take on Kubrat Pulev in an underwhelming defense compared to what could be a fight against Tyson Fury.
