YouTube sensation Logan Paul faced Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition bout back in 2021. At the time, he was the first YouTuber to face the former five-division champion in the ring. However, Paul has been stripped of this title as British YouTuber Deji also fought ‘TBE’ recently.

The pair competed in an exhibition bout at the Coca-Cola arena in Dubai, with Mayweather getting the better of Deji, winning by stoppage in the sixth round. However, despite the lackluster event, ‘The Maverick’ might be a bit bitter that Deji also got a chance to fight with Mayweather. In the latest episode of his podcast, ‘Impaulsive’, Paul made a startling confession about the fight.

He first claimed that the bout was the most entertaining fight in the history of combat sports, which was certainly not the case. “Deji vs Floyd Mayweather will go down in the history as one of the most entertaining bouts in combat sports,” Paul said trying to mock the bout.

Paul was then asked if he managed to make Mayweather bleed like Deji, which he did not. He then stated that he was jealous of his fellow YouTuber. “I’m jealous of Deji,” Paul added. This was not all as the fans reacted to Paul, making this startling confession.

One fan stated that now Paul cannot boast about being the only YouTuber boxer to have fought Mayweather. “Logan’s “ I fought the best boxer “ claim ain’t gonna look too cool now that Deji did it,” he wrote. One fan doubled down on trolling the fight as he refuted Paul’s claim of this being the most entertaining fight. “All time is a bit of a stretch but otherwise yeah,” he wrote.

However, one fan stated that although Paul was the bigger man, he outshined Deji in his performance against ‘Money’. “I know Logan is much bigger and much heavier than Floyd, but boxing wise he definitely outshined deji,” he wrote. Lastly, one fan rightly pointed out Paul’s outlandish claim of it being an entertaining fight. “‘One of the most entertaining bouts of combat sports ever’  bro that sh*t was absolutely embarrassing,” he wrote.

Although Paul might have been the first YouTuber to face Mayweather, it seems like plenty more will follow Deji. However, Paul has now shifted his focus away from boxing to sports entertainment. The Maverick is now a part of WWE and has also competed for their title looking to now make a name for himself as a professional wrestler.
