A rather bizarre news story has been doing the rounds of the media recently. Boxer Marcos Maidana claims that he possesses a tooth from a former opponent, Floyd Mayweather. However, Mayweather has recently come out to deny Maidana’s freakish claims.

Mayweather took on Maidana twice in 2014- emerging victorious in both the fights. It is their second fight that Maidana refers to when he says he knocked Mayweather’s teeth out with a punch.

“In the third round, when he hit me with that shot after the bell, it was a real good shot. It got my attention. No, he didn’t knock my teeth out. Not at all! He’s a strong guy, he’s a good puncher, but no, as far as my teeth missing, absolutely not.”- Floyd Mayweather

Known to many as ‘Money’, the last few weeks for him have been quite turbulent. Having to deal with the demise of both, the mother of his children and his uncle and former trainer, Roger Mayweather everything seems bleak for the American legend.

Money has been teasing fans with a potential comeback to the ring as this year marks his third year away from the ring, following a fight with Conor McGregor.

Manny Pacquiao seems to be a worthy opponent for Mayweather as whispers about a rematch have been going around.

Another rumor about a crossover fight seems to be the talk of the boxing world. The fight would feature Khabib Nurmagomedov taking on Floyd Mayweather. However, the chances of this fight actually materializing are near slim to none. Considering the bizarre conditions that the Dagestani fighter has put forth.
