Mike Tyson, apart from his contributions to the boxing universe, is known for his stellar work in the acting space. Tyson allured countless fight fans and movie lovers with his notable work across many iconic films and shows. Although the audience enjoyed Tyson’s work on the screen, his co-actors definitely had nightmares at times while filming any scene.

One such incident took place when ‘Iron’ Mike was shooting for his role in The Hangover, which came out in 2009. Bradley Cooper, who was one of the co-actors in the film, encountered a horrifying instance.

In this film, Tyson had to punch Zach Galifianakis in a scene. The intensity ‘Iron’ Mike put in seemed too real, and Cooper felt Tyson actually connected his best shot onto Galifianakis’ chin.

Three years ago, Cooper opened up on this incident and he gave an honest opinion on it. Speaking to BBC Radio 1, he said, “When we all thought he really hit Zach.”

“And actually Zach’s beard had this…because his beard was so think it was like a Brillo pad.”

“So it’s like when you touch it, it keeps the indent. And his whole beard was moved over to the side when he stood up.”

“It was terrifying and the wind from it – he still had it. I think Ed says, ‘He’s still got it.’”

“He’s still got it! It was terrifying. He just comes up to us and then he hits Zach.”

Mike Tyson even had a role in the sequel of ‘The Hangover’, which was released in 2011. Apart from this, Tyson worked in films like Ip Man 3, Entourage (Bottoms Up), Who’s the Boss (Sam Accelerates), and more.
