As per The Athletic’s Mike Coppinger, Adrien Broner is set to make a comeback to the ring in February 2021 on Showtime’s fight card. There are no opponents for him right now. Furthermore, Broner will predominantly fight under the Otto Wallin vs Dominic Breazeale main event on that night.
Broner hasn’t fought since his dreadful unanimous decision loss to the legend Manny Pacquiao.
Lately, ‘The Problem’ got surrounded by controversies. Since his loss to the ‘Pacman’, Broner has been at the receiving end of huge backlash coming from boxing fans. In the past 2 years, Broner has spent little of his time in the gym but gearing up for his return fight, he has lost approximately 30 pounds.
His February bout is still uncertain, as that month is stacked by a few notable boxing events and exhibition contests. There’s no announcement on Broner’s purse for this fight. Needless to say, he will go down as an underdog in this fight.

However, it will be intriguing to see who gets aligned in front of Broner. Fighters take up easy fights on their return so they could gain back their momentum. Broner will look forward to doing the same here. Once he adds a couple of wins to his resume in the coming year, he will prevail with all the confidence in the world to take up ranked and rugged contenders.
