Former four-division world champion, Adrien Broner, was at the pinnacle of boxing glory when he was hit by a host of personal issues and mental health struggles. This in turn affected his performance inside the ring and his behavior outside the ring. And also pushed him to take an almost 2-year-long hiatus from the ring. Meanwhile, fans were left disheartened after the cancellation of his recent comeback fight. Broner, on the other hand, took to social media to announce that he will be making a ‘scary’ comeback soon.

Broner was set to make a comeback on February 25 with a fight against Michael Williams Jr. But, Williams Jr. had to back out of the fight due to a jaw injury. Talking about the same, his father Michael Williams Sr, mentioned, “I am so sorry to announce my son will not be fighting AB February 25th due to [an] unnecessary injury in training camp.” He also mentioned that he hopes that the fight between the two would take place at a later date.

Broner was previously scheduled to fight Ivan Redkach and Hank Lundy. But, both opponents had to pull out of the fight due to personal reasons. He recently took to Instagram to announce that he is back to the sport of boxing. And that fans can expect ‘scary as f*ck’ performances in the near future.

Talking about the same, he said, “I worked my ass off and I see what the bottom really looked like for the first time. I looked in the mirror and I told myself I am not that person and I got off my ass and went to work! These last four months I got in amazing shape and I’m in a great space in my life.”
