Broner’s ‘undisputed’ plan for his comeback to boxing
The Cincinnati native has currently expressed his desire to become a champion at 140 pounds. Although he has not won a fight in the super-lightweight division in over 7 years, the former champion wants to regain his lost glory. “So, for me, first I gotta get through Hutchinson. And that’s what I’m gonna do for sure and then we’re gonna pursue the 140 world titles. And I wanna become the undisputed [champion] at 140 pounds. So, you know, I got big plans and I been working my ass off. And June 9th, I’m gonna put on a show,” he said.
Despite his recent lackluster record and an extended period of inactivity, Broner remains confident in his abilities. The upcoming fight against Bill Hutchinson serves as a crucial step toward his ultimate goal.
