Dmitry Bivol is a burning subject for boxing now. The Russian did the near impossible. He outclassed the face of boxing Canelo Alvarez in a high-profile contest and became an overnight star. After Canelo’s loss, many speculate that there will be a rematch between the pair. Amid such talks, another Mexican star has intended to lock horns with Dmitry Bivol.

After securing a dominating win, the ex-WBO super middleweight titlist Gilberto ‘Zurdo’ Ramirez said, “Everyone knows I want Bivol. Stop branding and make sure you sign the contract next time. I’m coming for you.”

Interestingly, when the ring host asked ‘Zurdo’ why he believed he would succeed against a man who defeated pound-for-pound, Ramirez gave a hilarious reply. He said, “Because I’m stronger, smarter, bigger than him, and handsome.”

Notably, after sending German pugilist Dominic Boesel to the floor in the fourth round, Zurdo Ramirez has become a mandatory challenger to WBA light heavyweight champion Bivol.

Ramirez delivered a fantastic set of skills. The southpaw dominated all rounds and finally seized the opponent with a lethal body shot.

Comparison between Dmitry Bivol and Zurdo Ramirez

If Dmitry Bivol and Zurdo Ramirez squared off in the ring, certainly, it is going to produce a memorable boxing event. The pair are probably in the prime days of boxing and never saw the face of defeat in their professional career.

Unlike Canelo, Ramirez is a natural light heavyweight fighter. He is a 6foot 2-inch tall warrior with a well-conditioned body. The Mexican has held several regional belts other than winning WBO super middleweight title. The 30-year-old has good reach with heavy hands. Throughout his professional career, the southpaw fought 44 bouts. He is still undefeated, with 30 victorious coming out of a knockout.

On the other hand, Bivol is coming out with a historic win. The champ has delivered the best performance of his life.

Though the Russian is not as experienced as Ramirez, he has the advantage of being into bigger fights. He is also 6foot tall with a reach of  72cm. He is tough with quick footwork.

Moreover, the experience will not be a problem for Bivol, as fans witnessed, he was able to defeat a more experienced fighter in Canelo.
