Gervonta Davis has been working with Floyd Mayweather’s promotions company Mayweather Promotions for years. The two have amassed millions from Davis’ fights over the years. However, the equation between the two seems to be off lately. Recently, the Baltimore prodigy tweeted something which has been making a buzz on the internet.

Although Tank has deleted the above picture, it has surfaced from other Twitter accounts. Fans were speculating Mayweather and Davis’ relationship on Twitter, and amidst this, the latter wrote in a Tweet, “I’m not signed to a single soul got it?”

Following this, fans have been debating if Tank is going to split from Mayweather Promotions. However, officially there has been no announcement about a split. On the other hand, there is a big fight coming up for Davis against Ryan Garcia.
Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia: A fight for supremacy
The lightweight division of boxing is cluttered with some of the best boxers of our time. Ryan Garcia and Tank Davis are two potential fighters who have been strutting their way through the division. However, the two haven’t squared off against each other until now.

Not too long ago, Garcia extended his undefeated record as he outclassed Javier Fortuna inside the ring. Following that, Garcia called out Davis and said, “I’m not going back down to 135 for nothing, but I will fight Tank next. If Tank wants that at 140. But ay, I’m gonna record all the negotiations so you guys don’t make no headlines saying I’m ducking. If he want it, let’s get it.”
Soon after that, the Baltimore prodigy tweeted, “See y’all the end of the year..#TheONE”
Fans are already ecstatic about the idea of watching Davis and Garcia compete. Additionally, if the demands are met, there is a solid chance of a bout between Davis and Garcia, according to their respective promoters, Mayweather and Oscar De La Hoya.
