That said, he had advised Ryan Garcia to stop wasting talent when the lightweight star was out of plans on returning to action. While Garcia has now parted ways with Team Canelo, Alvarez doesn’t seem to have changed his approach. He recently stated how boxers in the gym lack discipline. Canelo also put former heavyweight champion, Andy Ruiz Jr, on that list.

Canelo Alvarez and his gym are going through a few changes
Canelo Alvarez’s recent statements on his fellow fighters have urged Ryan Garcia to respond. ‘KingRy’, who is now working with Joe Cusumano, accused Reynoso of being absent from the fight camps. Although Garcia expressed his respect for his ex-trainer, he didn’t hesitate to express himself via a tweet.
