In the video, Ennis claimed that he has been asking for a fight with Bud since 2018. At the time he was 22-0 and nowhere near the level of fighter he is today. After hearing this Crawford called him and his father out and swiftly rejected the accusations. “You have been asking me to fight since 2018? Cut it, you believe that, you a fool,” he said.
Shields was also quick to react to this video and went on to ask Ennis to provide proof to back his claims. She stated that she would like receipts of the time an offer was proposed to ‘Bud’. “I like receipts,” she wrote.
