+-The world of boxing is no stranger to heated rivalries and contentious exchanges, and a recent clash between Terence Crawford and Jaron Ennis has captivated fans and sparked controversy. ‘Bud’ is currently gearing up to face unified champion Errol Spence Jr. in one of boxing’s biggest fights. However, the IBF interim champion feels that he too needs to be included in the title picture.
In a video conversation between the two welterweight champions, Ennis was quick to claim that he was asking for a matchup with Bud. However, the WBO champion then dismissed these statements urging the interim champion to prove the times he asked for a matchup. This was not all as undisputed super middleweight champion Claressa Shields also responded to these bold claims.

In the video, Ennis claimed that he has been asking for a fight with Bud since 2018. At the time he was 22-0 and nowhere near the level of fighter he is today. After hearing this Crawford called him and his father out and swiftly rejected the accusations. “You have been asking me to fight since 2018? Cut it, you believe that, you a fool,” he said.
Shields was also quick to react to this video and went on to ask Ennis to provide proof to back his claims. She stated that she would like receipts of the time an offer was proposed to ‘Bud’. “I like receipts,” she wrote.
