Boxing is a lethal sport and can injure a person drastically. People have even lost their lives because of this sport. Legendary boxer Mike Tyson is a seasoned athlete and had one of the most successful boxing careers. However, he faced a severe injury years ago, which is not fully recovered.

In the recent episode of his podcast Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, the former world heavyweight champion was in conversation with skateboarding legend Tony Hawk. As the episode progressed, they were talking about injuries and how it affects your body.
Mike Tyson went on to say, “I’m in this thing, I’m snapped, that’s um, that has a laser, but that was I think 15 years ago. And every now and then I feel crack, I can still feel it. Like If I do something drastically with my back. I have to warm it up first.”

Apparently, ‘Iron Mike’ was spotted in a wheelchair a few months back. Fans were worried about the 56-year-old athlete’s health, but it was later revealed that he was fine. He suffered from a sciatica flare-up, which is a common condition among athletes. Tyson had stated in an interview that he wasn’t even able to speak during the ordeal, but he was completely fine now.
Mike Tyson nearly escaped another injury while filming the Tony Hawk episode
Tyson was famously known as ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ during his heyday. The wrath in his eyes and his angry demeanor used to send chills down his opponent’s spine. He was known to bring danger inside the ring, however, recently he was seen in danger himself, which could have harmed him badly.

His recent episode with Tony Hawk was a roller coaster ride. Both the legends discussed a wide range of topics during their conversation. Moreover, while taping the episode, Tyson stood up on a skateboard and was trying to maintain balance. He even said, “Oh I better stop this.”

Following that, he swiftly lost his balance and fell off the board, landing himself on a chair that was kept behind. Although he did not injure himself, if there was a metal object kept there, he could have faced a severe injury.
