Anthony Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn has hit out at Tyson Fury and his comments. This came after Anthony Joshua knocked out Kubrat Pulev in the 9th round to set up a fiery encounter with ‘The Gypsy King’. After the fight, Joshua made it obvious that he wanted the Fury fight, but refrained from calling him out directly. Instead, he chose to say that he will fight whoever has the belt.

As you can expect, Tyson Fury did not appreciate this; and after the fight, put out a video slating the Londoner. Many have agreed with ‘The Gypsy King’ and his comments about Joshua; however, Eddie Hearn is not buying it. Speaking to iFL TV, Hearn said, “I haven’t seen it, he’s blocked me on Twitter. Big dosser, that sort of stuff? Yeah, okay. We’ll see who sh*ts himself.”

For a man who loves a confrontation, it is surprising to see he has blocked Hearn. However, Hearn added, “Ultimately, AJ isn’t the kind of guy to scream and shout on TV and call people dossers, that’s not his style. We’ll let Tyson do that and we’ll just sign the fight and get it done.”
These comments suggest that Joshua and his camp are not bothered with Fury’s comments.

Why did Eddie Hearn have to defend Anthony Joshua’s behavior?
The biggest criticism of Joshua’s victory was the fact that he didn’t use the stage to make a dramatic call-out. Instead, he chose to stay diplomatic in his post-fight interview. Fans and critics were hoping that there would be some fireworks after the fight to fuel this epic heavyweight clash between two of the best.

Fury did do with his video and was the first one to accuse ‘AJ’ of sitting on the fence. In his video, the ‘Gypsy King’ said he wants the fight with the Londoner and said he would knock him out.
So clearly we have two very different fighters and two very different characters. Who do you think will come on top if Eddie Hearn can make it happen?
