Ukrainian elite Wladimir Klitschko says, it’s not over for Anthony Joshua and the Briton can rebound in style once again. Although the recent loss to Oleksandr Usyk has arrived at a very crucial stage of Joshua’s career, there’s still plenty of time for ‘AJ’ to regain his relevancy.

Klitschko, who lost to Joshua in 2017, has passed some positive messages to the former champion ‘AJ’. Looking at Klitschko’s career, there are 64 wins besides 5 losses. Thus, he is also aware of suffering defeats while being at the top. Wladimir Klitschko’s final two losses came in his last two fights against Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.

While he decided to hang his gloves after that, he didn’t see the same happening with Joshua. In a chat with Sky Sports, the retired boxer provided his views on Anthony Joshua’s future in the sport.

Wladimir Klitschko said, “I lost two fights within a year, to bounce back and become one of the longest reigning champions. AJ still has his time, absolutely. It’s all about how to overcome this challenge.” (H/T:- Michael Benson)

31-year-old Joshua is still in his prime. He has been a hard-hitter and an elite-level knockout artist in the heavyweight division. So, he has all the features to become a world champion once again. However, another defeat in his next fight will eject him from the title picture.

Anthony Joshua has a strong team that has helped him avenge a TKO loss against Andy Ruiz Jr. in an immediate rematch in 2019. It was Joshua’s first career loss that came against a natural heavyweight boxer who horrifically stopped him. As Joshua returned stronger from that phase, a unanimous defeat against Usyk may not be very hard to overcome.

But Usyk is an undefeated star, who is considered one of the smartest boxers of the time. Thus, Anthony Joshua will have a massive task before him.
