Ryan Garcia, the rising boxing star, and his arch-rival, the three-weight division champ Gervonta Davis will settle their long-running beef in the ring on April 22 under the bright lights of T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The build-up for this highly anticipated fight has been so intense that it has already sold the entire stadium.

The boxing world has a lot of expectations from this matchup as in the modern day of boxing it rarely happens that two undefeated fighters agree to put it all at stake in the growing phase of their career.

Like fans, the fighters are also excited. They are leaving no stone unturned to make it a historic showdown. This week they hosted two back-to-back pressers at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, and New York City, where they had exciting back-and-forth verbal spats in the presence of fans and the media.

Out of two fighters, the 25-year-old Garcia appears more eager for this shot ever since their beef began. The contract that has been signed includes a rematch clause for Davis if he loses. This means Garcia is contractually obligated to fight Davis again even if he wins the bout.

Though Davis is the champion and favorite for the grudge match, there is no doubt Garcia has more star power. Outside the ring, he is more active. On social media, he often shares his boxing skills through brief clips.

A win for Davis would mean that he won’t be contractually obligated to fight Garcia again.
