Though the son of a former heavyweight champion became part of a highly anticipated showdown on short notice, the animosity between them due to their sparring session in the past has created a buzz in the boxing world. Earlier, this week ‘The Problem Child’ added more drama to this build-up.
He dropped a small clip from the gym, showing him and Rahman Jr. throwing some cutting remarks at each other. Since the release of this video, the curiosity of knowing the result of this session became a big deal.
What did Jake Paul say about the sparring session?

Paul said, “That was before the Nate Robinson fight, so like roughly, two years ago and yeah, I mean it’s pretty self-explanatory. The kid was saying you’ll never be a professional fighter. You know I’m gonna beat your a**. You’re a b***h like saying all of this stuff to me during our sparring session. You’re just a YouTuber, you suck blah blah so yeah… I’m waiting for this moment to come back in and get revenge on him.”

According to the Ohio-based boxer, he had only one sparring session with Rahman Jr. Though he did not mention who was the winner, he said, “It was close man like, it was a war, that was right when I started fighting. It would be interesting to witness Paul’s upcoming bout as he never met a fighter of Rahman’s skill before. What do you make of Jake Paul’s remarks? Let us know in the comments below.
