Amado Vargas recently connected with FightHype and revealed the differences between Gervonta Davis and Shakur Stevenson. He hailed both men and shed light on their unique features.

“Gervonta’s more, he got more dog, and more. You gotta watch out for what he’s going to come hit you with. Shakur got a lot, he is very pin-point and just sharp and accurate. But they are both really good fighters, and that would be a good fight to watch,” said Vargas.

Gervonta Davis vs Shakur Stevenson- Who has a better resume and features?

Two-division champion, Gervonta Davis, boasts a pro-record of 24-0 with 23 wins coming via Knockout. The former IBF super featherweight champion currently holds the WBA lightweight and WBA (Super), super featherweight titles. While ‘Tank’ continues to showcase his prowess at 135 lbs, he can also move down a weight class in the future.

However, Davis has several more viable contenders in line, and a potential fight with Shakur Stevenson may not happen anytime soon.

Meanwhile, former WBO featherweight champion, Shakur Stevenson, holds a record of 15-0 with 8 KOs in an active resume. However, it’s been just four years since he turned professional and he would fall short in front of Davis’ experience.

Nevertheless, if Stevenson continues displaying his dominance, fans can envision him becoming a superstar in the sport. Moreover, ‘Fearless’ would rightfully be a challenger to Davis’ throne if he continues to rack up the wins and shifts weight classes.

Do you think Gervonta Davis and Shakur Stevenson will collide somewhere down the line? If yes, at what weight will they fight?
