Amanda Serrano has accomplished a lot of success in her illustrious boxing career. She is one of the most well-respected female boxers in the world. Now, the ‘Real Deal’ is on her way to tie one of the records of the boxing legend, Manny Pacquiao.

Manny Pacquiao holds the record for winning titles in most weight classes. The Filipino legend is the only boxer in the world to win titles in eight weight classes. Meanwhile, Serrano is only one weight class away from tying Pacquiao’s record, as she has won titles in seven weight classes.

The bottom line is, it won’t be much surprise if Serrano manages to break Pacquiao’s record. She is still in her prime and can easily surpass ‘PacMan’ if she keeps on doing what she is doing now, dominating all of her opponents.

Can Amanda Serrano defeat Yamileth Mercado?

Serrano will defend her WBC, WBO, and IBO women’s featherweight titles against the current WBC women’s super bantamweight champion, Yamileth Mercado. This champion vs. champion bout will serve as the co-main event on the Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley fight card.

The ‘Real Deal’ has not been defeated for almost a decade and is on a 26-fight win streak. Meanwhile, Mercado is on a 6-fight win streak. Both fighters will aim to prolong their winning streak. However, Serrano has more experience as compared to Mercado.
