Amanda Serrano is one of the brightest female boxing stars of recent times. Also, the Puerto Rican fighter is finally in for her biggest boxing bout against Katie Taylor. This fight was in contention for the entire 2021. However, there were high possibilities of this fight materializing this year, and now it’s scheduled for April 30.
Ahead of that, Serrano was in a chat with Matchroom Boxing. Here, she opened up about her boxing life, her signing with Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), and how has she witnessed the sport.
She said, “I’m at a different chapter in my career. You know this is like the tail end of my career, so we want to just go out with a bang when they offered that they wanted to sign us, become my manager. I was like, it took that has to be like the easiest and the fastest decisions that I ever made, you know.”

“We’ve been in the sport so long and, we’ve been, we’ve had ups and downs and I’ve seen it all.”
Serrano signed with Paul‘s MVP last year and since then she never really looked back. ‘The Problem Child’ regards Serrano as an elite boxing name and his respect towards ‘The Real Deal’ is always visible.
Furthermore, Jake Paul was at the forefront of lining Serrano up against Taylor. That said, irrespective of the career standpoint Serrano is in, she’ll only look to maximize on her boxing outings from hereon. Especially a fight against Taylor holds significant importance in shaping her legacy.
