Sylvester Stallone is a prolific actor and has been a part of many iconic films. However, it would not be unreasonable to say that his name is synonymous with the popular movie character “Rocky Balboa”.  He played the role of protagonist in the “Rocky” film series and also wrote the screenplay for it. Despite his contributions, the actor finds himself in an unfortunate dispute. The dispute centered around ownership rights of the ‘Rocky’ and the ‘Creed’ film series franchise with the producers of the film. Stallone was not particularly pleased with the original deal and felt that he deserved ownership rights. To express his dissatisfaction, Stallone even made a hostile post on his Instagram account.

Even though, Stallone may not have ownership rights, he remains the face of the ‘Rocky’ and his name will forever be attached to the franchise. Recently, he launched a new coffee company. And interestingly, it is named after one of his songs in the ‘”Rocky” film.
