Despite his contributions, the actor finds himself in an unfortunate dispute. The dispute centered around ownership rights of the ‘Rocky’ and the ‘Creed’ film series franchise with the producers of the film. Even though, Stallone may not have ownership rights, he remains the face of the ‘Rocky’ and his name will forever be attached to the franchise. Recently, he launched a new coffee company. And interestingly, it is named after one of his songs in the ‘”Rocky” film.

Sylvester Stallone claims Rocky is “not a sports film”

Many consider the “Rocky” series to be an iconic sports-orientated film. However, Stallone would disagree with that notion. In an interview, he stated, “It’s not a sports film. Rocky is a love story about a guy who’s a broken-down fighter. That’s all it is, but boxing. I realize people are obsessed with two things in life: racing and boxing.”
